The Continuing Studies Program coordinates classes for students during the late afternoon,
week-ends, early morning and noon. Offerings are designed to meet the needs of those wanting to
increase professional competence or prepare for new jobs or careers, or those seeking to pursue
personal interests. Adult high school graduates or non-high school graduates who are not interested
in earning a degree may enroll in continuing studies courses.
Specialized courses or programs not included within degree programs are offered under the
Continuing Studies Program. Courses or special programs may be designed to satisfy employment
related requirements. These include mini-courses, seminars, or other innovative programs. Employers
may also contract with the College for the design and articulation of courses for specialized
employee needs.
The Learning Resources Center provides assistance and instruction to students who seek to
develop and improve their reading, writing, mathematical and study skills. Students can pursue
an intensive individualized or small group program prescribed to meet academic needs.
The Learning Resources Center
provides a range of instructional aids, e.g., taped
lectures, filmstrips and other audio-visual supplemental
instructional aids, and computer-assisted instruction.
