Kerri Moseley-Hobbs to appear at New Light Leadership Coalition

College is scheduled to appear at New Light Leadership Coalition's (NLLC) Summer 2008 Leadership
Institute at Baltimore City Hall on July 31th 2008 at 1 p.m. She has previously presented at
DE-DC-MD Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (ASFAA) Fall 2007 Conference in
Cambridge, Maryland. Additionally, Kerri has been invited to speak on behalf of financial aid
software companies at the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators’ (NASFAA)
recent 2008 Conference. Kerri will appear at the summit to teach the youth program participants
about how accessible college is to them and the types of financial aid that are available to help
them financially.
Every summer, youth from across the Baltimore area are invited to participate in
NLLC's Youth Leadership Institute. This three-week intensive training experience is held Monday through Friday
from 10:00am - 4:00pm. NLLC has partnered with the Mayor's Office and City Council President's office to host
the program at Baltimore City Hall. The Youth Leadership Development Program (YLDP) provides participants with
instruction in leadership skills and real life experience working in teams. Topics covered include areas of
personal, social, educational, economic, political, and organizational development. (www.nllc.org).
