Partnerships for Progress
Partnerships are part of our culture at Sojourner-Douglass College.
SDC's Sandy Conner keeping
partnership between SDC and MTA strong w/Lisa Dickerson, MTA
Administrator and Dan Dalton, KFH Group.
Through collaborations with community-based organizations, nonprofit
organizations, government agencies, faith-based groups, local businesses and
civic organizations, the Office of Community Outreach empowers students and
residents with the knowledge, skills and resources they need to improve
their lives and their communities.
By partnering with the Office of Community Outreach, you are joining forces
with an established organization—an organization with experience developing
successful programs for urban populations. Just a few of our partners
include the Maryland Transit Administration, the Baltimore City Department
of Social Services, the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development and the
Maryland Department of Human Resources.
We are always seeking grant support for innovative projects from grantors
with like-minded interests, and in turn we share our grant funds with
partners whose own objectives are met as they help us accomplish our project
objectives. By sharing our facilities, expertise and financial resources, we
are more effective. Together, we move toward the goal of making our
communities self-sustaining and self-sufficient.
