Alumni Spot Light

This Month's Spot Light shines on: Anton O. Conaway

Anton O. Conaway

I absolutely loved my experience at Sojourner-Douglass College! Nowhere else could I get the knowledge and awakening experience of self-determination and self-empowerment other than my college experience at SDC. I enjoyed the fact that I was able to make a difference while I was there. Not only was I able to get an excellent education at SDC, I was able to volunteer and give back at the same time. The Staff at SDC was like no other.... from the Security Guard at the front door to the President of the College, I was able to interact with everyone on almost a daily basis and had a feeling of belonging to a unique family community that spreads beyond the SDC campus. SDC is gem in Baltimore City that I am proud to represent as an alumnus. However, I am most proud of being a part of the SDC family and I feel confident as the College continues to grow our graduates, filled with the fire of self-determination and self-empowerment will be the change agents of the contemporary global community.
