Greetings! Fellow Alumnus of Sojourner Douglass College
I am in the office of Recording Secretary for our alumni association. I offer you a wealth of administrative services, well over 20 years in various positions in the private industry, in my current position as Senior Administrative Specialist with the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency in Fort Detrick, Maryland, one of many responsibilities, is the transcribing of minutes for our bi-weekly meeting.
My dedication to you and to our alma mater is at the top of my list, we each represent this great institution. At the 2005 National Alumni Induction Ceremony, I was the keynote speaker; I’ll never forget the theme, “Faith & Dreams”, both I hope we still believe in.
Our alumni have taken on many challenging and changing roles, all positive in our quest to better define our responsibilities as alumnus. With new leadership and a compassionate Director, we’ll define our niche through you.
As a lifetime member of the alumni association and a 2004 Distinguished Alumni honored by the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education, representing Sojourner Douglass College, this honor, I am most humble and grateful for. My call to service for SDC started in 1999 and I continue to answer the call when needed, my involvement includes Student Government Association, and Sigma Beta Delta. I want to serve you the same way; I want to represent you, as your Recording Secretary.
Peace & Blessing
