Students entering Sojourner Douglass College are required to take standardized placement tests which are used to determine language and mathematical skill levels. The purpose of these tests is to determine the strengths and weaknesses of a potential candidate, so the appropriate prescriptive counseling and placement can be arranged by the institution.
