If you test into remedial courses in English and Math, you will be required to take developmental courses which are geared toward helping you be successful in the Nursing Program.
The requirements for the Nursing Program are listed below. These courses must be completed with a grade of ‘C” or better before you are considered for acceptance into the program:

Acceptance letters are sent after all of the applications are completed. Typically, you will receive your letter approximately 1 month before the date of the start of the nursing program. You will need to complete all of the required health clearances, drug screen, and criminal background check prior to the start of the nursing program.
Prior instances of criminal behavior (both misdemeanors and felonies) are taken into serious consideration when reviewing the applicant’s qualifications. If your criminal background check is positive for a felony, you will not be considered for the program.
Nursing courses are taught during the day. Nursing clinicals are taught between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. and may be scheduled any day of the week around the clinical site availability.
